dVerse Aril 16, 2013

Endless

she searches a sea of faceless people
seeking the face that touched her soul
in darkness, he brings her light
his voice rocks her,  silent waves of emotions
lullaby of the heart...the ebb and flow of devotion
lost deep in the ocean of his eyes..nowhere to hide
reflective blue pools of time spent together
adrift  in the vast emptiness of surrounding water
a ship with no shore to bring her home
eerie sobs from the grey mist of yesterday
haunting ghost roams her anguished body
stroke of midnight, the phantom  arises
under a shadowy sky, he beckons her
come hither my lady, let us dance on the crest of desires
press your breasts to my chest, whispers of endearment
swaying beat of rhythmic hearts
remove your cloak, reveal your vulnerability
under the watchful eyes of a thousand stars
waves of affection inner tranquility
gently riding the tides of endless love

  2. The pic is great
And your words the same trait
    Those stars can watch
    Some reach for the scotch
    But some bare all
And see the writing on the wall

  5. So many good lines in this.

"...let us dance on the crest of desires
press your breasts to my chest, whispers of endearment
    swaying beat of rhythmic hearts..."

Makes me want to oil these joints, get out there, and dance the universal dance of all ages!

  8. You've captured that wonder of finding someone you love in a crowd. There is a lot of tenderness in this poem.
