Hawk Eye View

Oh, how I wish I could fly
on the open wings of a hawk
so,  wild and free..
soaring
 soaring

performing acrobatics in a blue sky
flurry of feathers dancing in the air
weightless, freedom in flight
swooping
 swooping

rising to a higher level of perspective
energy awakening in the sunlight
visions of life, spiritual elevation
circling
 circling

a distant cry, awareness
aura of power, panoramic view
gliding in graceful balance
flying
 flying

Posted for Poets United I saw a hawk today and I marveled at the sight..

    1. Hello Mary,

Whenever I see a hawk I have to pause and take in the splendor! Thank you for taking the time to visit.

  5. Yes, that would be grand
    To fly across the land
    And even the sea
Going to bora bora with glee
    Could try hang gliding though
Or sky diving at your show
    Then you could fly
Big risk you may also die
    And go kersplat
So may not want to listen to the cat

    1. Hi Pat & cat

      it would be grand to
      fly across the land
      spread my wings
      and explore places
      and things.. perhaps
      fly to your sea and
      visit thee...

    2. Well as a bird
The cat would not flip you the bird
      He'd invite you in
Although you may be dinner at his bin lol
      And the message worked too
      It came through
