Magic Hour

Magic Hour by Judith Clay

Under the big top in the realm of dreams
my mind takes flight all is not as it seems

Rooster crows,  entranced my head spins
the land of nod,  magical hour slowly  begins

Magician with hair dark as night
face resembling the moon, oh what a sight

Sitting high upon a diamond back giraffe
my spirit soars &  I give a good laugh

enchanted hour stories to behold

Stretching my imagination, new direction
tall felt black hat,
  tap tap,  tap tap
heavenly reflection

reaching  for those stars that seemed out of  reach
abracadabra
  hocus pocus
finding my dreams on a white sandy beach

while the giraffe sings me a song
& the magician  plays along

    2. Sounds good to me
What is the spell to bring about such glee?

    3. I wish I knew the spell

  8. I'm finding these paintings to elicit abstract and humorous poems. You use of rhyme add that certain something to bind it together. Nicely done, Truedessa.
