Roaming the Dark Side

Dreams fill two light hearted fools heads
navigating between heaven & earth
our stories woven, golden threads
adventures waiting, tales giving birth

Celestial body, silver stars  dance
wooing hearts, romance in the air
casting spells, Truedessa in a trance
constellations twinkling,  solar flares

Blanket of darkness, no place to hide
mystic powers, soft ballad distance cry
glistening moonbeams, ready to ride
Aquila lights the misty evening sky

Pewter wings soaring night hawk
Truedessa caught in a giant claw
Captain Pat's smile melts to a frown
drawing his sword, clenching jaw

Calling upon the powers, crystal skull
shooting stars, fiery arrows in flight
soft sighs, drifting in a momentary lull
declaring an oath,  we fight this night

Hawk clever disguise landing on the moon
cosmic dust gleaming in his dark eyes
mystical powers, playing bizarre tunes
Captain Pat hears her haunting cries

Cat hisses summoning  ancient powers
heaven roaring - mighty lion arises
diamond collar - sudden meteor showers
mythical realm alive..full of surprises

Captain & cat riding the mighty beast
off to the moon,  facing that martian loon
stealing Truedessa, this madness must cease
soon this creature will be singing a new tune

Roaming the dark side avoiding craters
Leo the Lion stalking vast stars
seeking that little green traitor
sending  his probing ways back to mars

Captain & cat fighting this evil creature
flinging moon rocks, from here to there
wild scene for an alien movie feature
out of nowhere a fire ball from the air

Truedessa calling upon the universe
powers of the sun, align with the moon
she softly sings in harmony poetic verse
casting a magical spell,  martian swoons

Encapsulating the alien in his spacecraft
navigation set,  flying him into a black hole
Truedessa smiling with glee, Captain laughs
cat  hissing lets flee,  it's time for us to roll...

Sliding down yellow moonbeams waiting ship
safe once again, exhausted they sleep
in the sunrise they will continue their trip
seeking the bora bora shores in waters deep

as the moon and sun continues to shine

posted for dVerse - Continuing the journey
to the Bora Bora Shore seeking that treasure

  1. haha this one had it all
Even threw in some things from my hall
    Captured the cat well
Those probing martians are not swell
    Sliding down on moonbeams too
Like that thought at my zoo
And using the constellation for the two to help
As poor Truedessa gives a yep
    Was a nice touch
Then the martian got cocky and such
Sending him into a black hole
Hopefully there he gets hung from a flag pole
    Another great tale
To the moon and back they sail
