Autumn's Last Bloom

Fall pushes onward, crisp pine air
crunching leaves, brisk autumn day
shadowy trees sway, branches bare
beautiful flowers have faded away

caressing warm moments, new dawn
wrapped in a thick quilt of dreams
two silhouettes, curtains softly drawn
moonlight peeking, crystal  beams

bed of chrysanthemum full  bloom
healing  petals reaching out for you
scent of fall lingers, filling the room
sunlight, captures my field of view

loves rapid beat, resides in my heart
caught in quiet splendor,  I fall apart

  4. The beauty of fall is in the contrast against other seasons. The pull is the change in colors. Great write Truedessa!

  5. I had to look up the name
to make sure the flower was the right claim
Such a loving place to be
Not too cold, just right at ones sea
    Where two can just be
    Living life free
