eyes of heaven cry, cleansing waters thirsty land for understanding

warrior spirit broken, blood stained land, death hovering , darkness rises
north wind blows chill fills the night air, snow blankets a sleeping land
reality stolen, lost moments ticking hands dark times, hidden dreams
weary souls long twisting journey, destination unknown to mankind
hope silent prayers, reaching arteries in waiting hearts, healing begins

  1. really cool lines...i would not mind some snow...
the reality stolen/hidden dreams bookends that one nicely
the weary souls/yes mankind might not know but someone does
    and someone will. smiles.

  2. "...destination unknown" I think about that sometimes, that at least we know it will be pretty nice--in the end. Odd that "healing begins with prayer"--when prayer often is last rememdy we think about.
