I Strike a Chord, You Play a Tune

sitting upon your piano white cotton dress
bare silky legs, my toes lightly dance
longing for your fingertips, gentle caress
seductive invitation, our eyes in a trance
I  strike  a chord,  you play a tune

mesmerizing voice, hypnotic sounds
my heart in the backdrop pounds..

tingling vibrations mood just right
stroking lovingly ebony & ivory keys
playing  ballads into a starry night
laid back melodies, harmony with ease
I strike a chord,  you play a tune

mesmerizing voice, hypnotic sounds
my heart in the backdrop  pounds..

listening to your songs, haunting grooves
my feet Tap taP  to the rhythmic beat
sliding by your side feeling sultry moves
ooh babe, you know that sound is sweet
You strike a chord , I sing a tune

  2. nice...first made me think of dueling pianos...how they play off each other enhancing the sound...and in the end that is what lovers should do eh? making each other more....

  5. Oh, I can really feel the beat in these rhythmic words, Truedessa. And I really like the idea of one person striking a chord and the other playing the tune..

  7. Each apart
    the tune has no heart
    But together
    Any storm it can weather
    Quite the tune
    Sure to make two swoon
