Where the Wildflowers Thrive

Wildflowers by Nikolai Galakhov

where  the  wildflowers   thrive   magic  resides
planting seeds in a  rich  meadow  of  green
warm   mystical  realm,  our  dreams  will   survive
new  promises  take   root  ,  message  foreseen

traveling  realms,  where   will  the  path   lead
follow  your heart  it  always  knows the  way
clearing  wide  path,  pulling  up  strangling weeds
in the  distance,  a  white   horse   softly  neighs

beckoning our  wild   spirit   to   take   flight
winged Pegasus,  soaring   dark  skies  unknown
constellations  spark  warm desires of   night
full  moon,  behold  blue sapphire  crystal   stone

reaching  heavenward  for  the  golden   ring
dreamers are reborn, beating  hearts now  sing

A day in a meadow filled with flowers would absolutely make one feel reborn. A lovely sonnet indeed.

  3. Roots taking hold and life anew, sailing to the stars even up to Mars, sure would be grand. Just have to dream a little dream and soar across the land.

    2. To dream
      Is better than whipped cream
      Or Bora it would seem
      Well maybe not
But Bora dreams are all I've got
      Always been a dreamer myself
Reading ton of books on my shelf
      Flying away to distant lands
Doing what a faraway princess demands
See I'm off as I type this
      Dreaming can be such bliss
