Thoughts of Thanksgiving

Thankfulness resides in my heart
may each sunrise fill me with hope
seeing beauty, nature a work of art
thankfulness resides in my heart
grateful words from my lips impart
as the sun slips beyond the slope
thankfulness resides in my heart
may each sunrise fill me with hope

  1. If thankfulness resides in one's heart, what more could one desire? Lovely thoughts, Truedessa.

  3. When the sunrise matches the heart of hope every sunset is the promise of love of life that never runs out as long as one rises in hope.. in the rhythms and waves of what stays true as love..of life..:)

    Happy Thanksgiving.. too..:)

    1. Good Morning, I think at times thankfulness can be difficult as the daily trials of life can be overwhelming but, through every cloud their is hope for a time of thanksgiving.

  6. Some of us labor uphill a lot, me with my disability, others with their own crosses to carry; but as the meta-physicists say; "the answer to most of life's problems is an inside job."

    1. Glenn,

That is true.I too have a walked a hard journey in life and there were days I thought that hill was too steep, but somehow I made it through and that is one of the reason I am thankful because I didn't give up on the battle for life.

  8. thankfulness resides in my heart
may each sunrise fill me with hope

A noble yearning from a generous heart. It is often easy to stumble upon those deprived but many just cannot extend the kind of help they desire. Good intentions as stated here however will be fulfilled. Great lines Truedessa!

    1. I like the thought of new hope it gives one needed strength to face the day as sometimes we have no control over what will come our way as we just try to make it through the day..hoping all your days
      are brighter..
