Traveling the Grasslands

 I dream of Africa
my head in a cloud
after a night of darkness
I awaken to bursting light
I am a traveler always on a quest
I will not let baggage weigh me down
I will conquer my doubts and fears
possessing a free spirit a nomad
dressed in zebra skin,  a wild horse
of the savanna , untamed  I roam
amidst tall blades of the grasslands
trusting my intuition and instincts
each step a part of the journey
my head held high
I am a survivor..

    1. Hi Berowne,

I have to get over to your place and see if I can solve the weekly quiz? I like a little brain teaser.

  6. Let the spirit soar as the baggage is let go and chucked in the river. A nomad on the go, not sure the zebra would appreciate you taking his skin though lol

    1. ha - that is very true Brian and sometimes we just have to keep going. Wouldn't it be cool to go on a safari to be around all those majestic beasts. But, you are right it is a place that has suffered so much pain through history.
