Monsoon Approaching

pic Wikimedia

Monsoon rapidly approaching
   Onslaught of waves we ride
     Nimbus clouds merging together
       Shattering our reality into pieces
Our bodies caught in torrential rain
           Overlapping clinging to each other
             Night leaves us breathless

  11. Truedesa, your lines are intense enough to illustrate what monsoon is. The whole piece sounds like a long night, good thing they have each other in this moment of time. Also, I could read this as part of your adventures in the sea with captain Pat. I enjoyed it, as always, thank you!
