Beyond the Vapor

love is blind
naked & vulnerable
you think I cannot see you
but, I see beyond the vapor
filled room, your scent lingers
I feel you, even though
I cannot touch you...
swirls of smoke surround
us....taking deep breaths
our spirits become one
inhale...exhale..
where there is smoke
there is a fire
 where there is an ember
there is a spark
I see it in your
eyes
together we ignite

  1. Hmm there could be smoke where there was fire, fire could have been put out lol had to. A great spark that hits the mark.

    1. That could be, but the embers always burn...then the spark ignites and the fire once again burns...

    1. Hi,

I am just getting around to reading some of the poems and we certainly have some interesting writes. I think summer has put some poets in a sultry mood.

  6. Whew. LIght up the night with that kinda intense love. This builds nicely. Love is what it is - and will find a way, if it is.

  10. Your last line is killer, & the sizzle of your sensuality certainly reveals another side to the gal who goes on adventures with Captain Patt. Thanks for stopping by my place even without participating in dVerse this time; I always dig it.
