Polaris Guides Us Home

our story written in the stars
verses appear from here to Mars
heaven shines with radiant light
heartfelt poetry in the night, true love is ours

finding our way Polaris guides
healing waters found in moon tides
crystalline children of the world
uplifting songs our wings unfurled, soaring hillsides

dropping our cloaks in dreamy skies
connecting energy we rise
crossing the bridge traveling home
lonely days we no longer roam, smiles replace cries

  6. Wings unfurled - like dragons, perhaps? Or like angels?
The peace in your words makes it feel like a journey to Heaven.

    1. Hi Alex,

Soaring on unfurled wings - could be like a dragon or an angel?

  7. I like very much the idea of connecting energy...it gives the idea of finding strength, which we definitely need right now.

  8. I love this, Truedessa, and you did the form so well. It speaks to me of the countless refugees seeking sanctuary. I hope they find that bridge home again and their cries become smiles. This really touched me, thank you.

    1. Gayle,

The prompt form was interesting so I wanted to try it and let my inner muse speak. That bridge is very symbolic to those who cross to the sky world and to those that seek refuge here on earth.

  11. /collective positive energy/ trumps /collective negative energy, we hope & pray, yet here's another Friday, greeted with another Islamic terror attack, this one in a fancy hotel in Mali. I like the second stanza, especially the last line, /uplifting songs our wings unfurled, soaring hillsides/. You rocked the form as well.

  14. Connecting all of the beautiful energy in the world is the only way we can tip the scales so the transformation of consciousness can occur. It seems right now, the dark energies are fighting hard, but the loving response rising up in turn convinces me love is the greater force. A beautiful write, my friend, which adds some much needed good energy to the world, and to us as we read your words.

  18. There is certainly poetry in the beauty of the night sky...I just wish that it wasn't so hard to get away from the light pollution that obscures those lovely verses!
