Heart of Wonder

In  quiet moments
I turn the pages
of my heart
reading from
a book filled
with love

one beat
one heart
one song

your words
meshed with mine
lost in another time
a poetess
a lyricist
in harmony
falling
deeper
into
a sea
of
desire

in tune
we sang
of hopes
and dreams
writing letters
bringing forth
words

one beat
one heart
one song

on wide wings
over a sparkling vista
we soared new
heights
seeking the deeper
meaning of life
following dreams
we met on a star
burning bright

here our tale
really began, seeking
the greatest story
we ventured onward
vibrating with energy
a new world in the
seventh heaven star
aligning our gift
of knowing
through Orion's Belt
we slipped into a hole
of wonder...

one beat
one heart
one song

  2. How ideal it would be to experience the feeling of one beat, one heart, one song.....in one's hopes and dreams. It would be enough to make one's heart overflow with happiness.

    1. I think we all yearn for that sort of understanding in the journey.

  3. I think if we can reach such harmony the boundaries would melt and whatever tethers us will break... wonderful when you have it...

  11. Wonderfully worded and full of whimsy (and I'm full of Ws today apparently). Also, I learned a new word today - poetess. I like that.

  20. seeking the deeper
    meaning of life

I like that. But has it ever crossed your mind that seeking meaning may be a human flaw? No?

    Oh okay :)

    1. hmm..Do I think it is a human flaw? My answer would be no as we must always dig deeper as life is about living and learning. When you stop seeking you stop growing as a person. Will we ever find that deeper meaning? It depends on what you are seeking? Some things will never be discovered no matter how hard we search.

      Okay :)

    2. What I mean is... maybe seeking meaning is a human thing, the tunnel through which we see the world. No?

  21. Hi Truedessa,

Enticingly thoughtful words, my kind friend. And the pages of your heart reveals the next page, the next chapter in the adventure, the hope that is the cosmos beyond in love's allure.

    Okay, I haven't got a clue what I'm talking about :)

    4. I'm typing this while asleep. I'm a bit better, thank you. I hope you are okay and have managed to get some relaxing moments. Now then, time for some total REM and nothing to do with the band or shiny, happy people...:)
