Poetic Songs

A dreamer roams in a faraway land
searching paths for the troubadour of song
following ones true heart cannot be wrong
sonnets of love music she could understand

poetic lyrics and lute, heart held in his hand
serenade me my love away from the throng
a dreamer roams in a faraway land
searching paths for the troubadour of song

under moonlight tipping hourglass of sand
swept away by melodies singing along
between notes finding a place to belong
magical sound under a willow strand
a dreamer roams in a faraway land

  2. This is so "you," Truedessa. If you found it difficult, it doesn't show. It flows so well.

  18. Hi Truedessa,

Despite you not feeling very well, you've done an admirable job with the poetry. Although, the main thing really is that you take good care of you.

I'm a dreamer roaming in a faraway land. This has the ambience of a wandering minstrel.

Take good care and a wonderful, healthy Valentine's Day to you, my lovely friend.

    1. Hi Gary Gary,

Thank you for well wishes. Ah, a wandering minstrel in search of true wanderings. So tell me do you see the stars at night in England? Wondering if you see that special planet?

Happy Valentine's Day to you! If you wait until the 15th you can get twice the wishes :)

  19. I love the refrain! And I especially love the placement of the last two times. It takes us back to a long ago time....and the romance of the troubadour's life I enjoyed this very much!
