Climbing New Heights

Standing solitary on a mountaintop
reality hovers in evening backdrop
dreams awaken under a starry night
giving and receiving the gift of light

footsteps, journey quest to the inner soul
secrets to life written on ancient scrolls
sacred ground pioneering new height
giving and receiving the gift of light

beneath a cloak of invisibility
expanding the mind to possibility
channeling energy and foresight
giving and receiving the gift of light

mossy trails, shaping new life
reborn in spirit leaving behind strife
true heart wondrous star burning bright
giving and receiving the gift of light

 honoring the wisdom within

author's note: this is to honor a
dream. Through self discovery
we can reach a higher level of
awareness.

Thank you for visiting and
may light guide you
safely in your journey.

    1. Well, the goal is to find inner wisdom but, I don't believe that is an easy task.

  2. "Expanding the mind to possibility" -- we do have to listen to our dreams, I think, as possibilities live there & can be realized if we follow...

    1. We need to expand our mind as it is the only way we can grow and embrace change as I find change difficult. I will hold on to dreams until it is clearly shown the dream has lost its spark.

Have a lovely Sunday Mary...may you always hold on to your dreams.

  3. "secrets to life written on ancient scrolls"

Either I can't read the message, or the scrolls have crumbled to dust. (That's how I often feel, anyway!)

    1. I guess that is why they are secret we need someone to decode them. Believe me I have days like that myself. This was actually based on a dream that left me feeling a bit mystified.

Yes, I saw a lot of synchronicity this week. Perhaps, it is the promise of spring.

  10. So few truly understand the importance of being alone with self. The Hermit is one of my favorite cards. Thank you for this,

    1. I had an encounter with this card and I had to do a bit of reflecting through the dreamscape to find some meaning.

  13. A lovely expression of the gift of dreams. And indeed, sometimes allowing reality to hover while dreams work their magic is probably a good way to go about your life ... at least, for a while.

  17. Learning to be alone with yourself is perhaps the best way to learn about the world - and being..hermit doesn't necessarily mean alone or poor of spirit or being..this is a wise and inspirational reminder of that

  18. Living and dreaming are, indeed, journeys towards the road of knowing who we are and how we fit into the world. Looking within can tell us so much about what happens outside. ♥
