Suspended Between Two Points

Dreaming beneath a twilight sky
my heart and soul caught
in a handwoven net of love
your voice whispers in my
ear in  a gentle b.r.e.e.z.e
swaying to the rhythm
of life,  my lips forming
 words I need to say
wishing upon a star

Join Me!

Picnic
fresh bread, wine and cheese
basket full of wonder
reading under a willow tree
peaceful

Blue sky
scent of flowers
bees drinking sweet nectar
cloud watching, a dragon drifts by
join me

Searching for Signs!

Pic credit - personal collection

searching for signs among the rocks
drifting far from the wooden docks
watching waves break under my feet
catching the oceans rhythm and beat

whispering in the breeze  my dreams
high floating clouds filtered sunbeams
my words melt in the mid-day heat
catching the oceans rhythm and beat

sparkling message, hidden from view
salted tears, my heart thinks of you
vast sea lost wandering souls meet
catching the oceans rhythm and beat

searching for signs among the rocks
catching the oceans rhythm and beat

Growth on a Stump

pic: personal collection

sing
to me
red robin
sweet bird of spring
warmth of golden sun
renew,  my weary soul
show me the path of my heart
here a weeping willow once stood
life beats on in the cage of your breast
your song a message of hope, love and joy

my heart flutters to your lyrical notes
poetic verses tweet in the sun
dandelions dance to the beat
nature alive with each breath
songs whisper through the trees
my thoughts drift to you
can you hear me
reflective
living
life

author's note: I was taking a walk recently
and came across this robin singing where
a weeping willow once stood.  I paused
in the moment to take in the wonder.

Interlocking Shadows

silhouettes slow
  dancing under
     golden moon
        embracing light

music soothes
  wounds, healing

Oracle of Wisdom Hoots

pic credit - my own
High upon a mountaintop
nestled in fragrant pines
hidden mystical owl's nest

beyond the veil of full moon
an oracle of wisdom hoots
bring me your hopes & dreams

open your heart, feel the magic
discover the mystery of night
walk  upon  green mossy trails

inside an old gemstone mine
spirited dragon bird slumbers
unfurl your  mighty wings, arise

perched high the owl chortles
awakening the sleeping beast
drums echo through the cavern

into the fire release your wishes
forest nymph dances with delight
captivated by the dragon's song

unleashing primordial power
guardian of the celestial world
healing crevices of the heart

spring's breath, hatching love
from the yolk of lofty dreams
soaring on wide wings...

Organic State of Mind

I like my music organic
awakening my senses
to the natural rhythm
of a simple hoop drum
made from my own hands
stretching the tough hide
weaving strands through
each hole of my being
mending the weak spots
strengthening flat notes
an apple drumstick, sweet
and delicious leaving a
lasting taste in the vibrations
of each breath
  inhale
   exhale

I like my music organic
raw and un-tethered
allowing fluid movement
from beat to beat...
resonating with positive vibes
lyrics from the heart
nothing artificial...
raw full of emotions
connecting with the
inner most part of
of my being

I like my music
tuned into the
  frequency of love
   pure and natural
    no additives...
      harmony

I like my music like love

I share my real heart & soul
 there is nothing more
  precious to give....
