Interlocking Shadows

silhouettes slow
  dancing under
     golden moon
        embracing light

music soothes
  wounds, healing
     between notes

The Septolet is a poem consisting of seven lines containing fourteen words with a break in between the two parts. Both parts deal with the same thought and create a picture.

  9. The poem captures the picture perfectly, and in so few words. Lovely. Now... if only the wife knew how to dance. I usually end up dancing by myself, like a dork.

  14. It is often the space in-between that heals wounds - be it words..music or breaths - a clever use of form and image.. and of course words!

  20. Hey human, Truedessa
    It's me, the professor
    Professor Pup
    And a poetic cup
    That runneth over
    Just like Rover

    Your words of dance
    Make me prance
    At a glance
    A silhouette romance
    Nicely done
    Some pawetic fun
    I'm on the run

    Pawsitive wishes and doggy kisses,

    Penny, Penny, loves so many.....
