Blue Guitar

pinterest

Hey , cowboy beware of the girl
with a vision in her eyes
she'll see the places in your
heart you desperately try to hide

caught in the dreams of night
strummin' her like a six string
fingers pluckin' every chord
makin' love, she'll sweetly sing

she loves you from afar
 under  a million golden stars
  weeping to your blue guitar

Hey,  cowboy beware of the girl
with a vision in her eyes
she'll see the places in your
heart you desperately try to hide

caught in the dreams of night
lost in the rhythm of your songs
her heart catching every beat
writin' words, fixin' wrongs

she loves you from afar
 under a million golden stars
  weeping to your blue guitar

Hey,  cowboy beware of the girl
with a vision in her eyes
she'll see the places in your
heart you desperately try to hide

  1. Hi Truedessa,

Seems she senses the emotions the cowboy tries to keep secret. His guitar strums her heart.

    Gary.

    1. Do you have a blue guitar? One of your six, you need to acquire a 7th. One for each day of the week.

  4. That girl with visions in her eyes, she sees deeply......I, too, loved the part about her weeping to his blue guitar.

This is so good. It spoke to me in a musical form right from the start..very sing-able but poetically strong. I am curious...have you set this to a tune yet?
