Leaves of Bravery

Victory, A Knight Being Crowned With A Laurel Wreath" by Frank Dicksee
A gallant knight
crowned with laurel leaves
a sign of bravery

Tis, the day to win his lady love
not, by the swiftness of sword
but, through poetic words

Golden stars fall from heaven
in soft bed of leaves, moist kiss
cupping her heart

  19. Lovely Q44, very much in your vibe of mythos & fantasy. You write like a Victorian poet sometimes, romantic, historical, rife with traditions.
