Springboard to the Stars

springboard me among the stars
spiraling around in heavenly flight
sending earth, my fondest regards
passing through worlds of light
sprinkling stardust, healing scars
earthlings slumber, dreams of night
quietly slipping past portal guards
winged dragon, mysterious knight
slaying hearts in a cosmic courtyard

  14. You must be a cosmic lifeform, one that can survive in space, see and identify objects in the red uv radiation spectrum and no oxygen! Now thats impressive.

  16. This has such a dream-like quality to it. I love that. I've never dreamt I was flying, which I hear is weird, but I can picture it perfectly in this poem.
