Moving Stars from Afar

photo - pinterest

There is movement beyond the stars
innermost dreams a dragon guards
stirring true hearts in a cloud-sea
love grows beneath a cosmic tree

weaving through celestial worlds
destiny waiting on wings unfurled
sending signals throughout the night
traveling towards the morning light

softly a whisper, are you awake
visions flicker before dawns break
believing dreams are the gateway
breathing in the magic of a new day

there is movement beyond the stars
love grows beneath a cosmic tree

writing about movement

  1. Follow through that gateway and see what happens as life can sure spread away like the tree at play.

  4. This is so beautiful, Truedessa. It occurs to me to tell you about two amazing books by Linda Tucker: Mystery of the White Lions, and Saving the White Lions. Mindblowing stuff. Her mission is to save the endangered white lions. She studies with shamans in Africa. Credo Mutwa explains in the first book, that the fate of humankind is linked with that of the endangered white lions. If they die, we die. I have just started the second book, where she is desperately trying to keep them alive, against canned killing interests. Ingwavuma, the legendary lion who was killed by canned hunters and who did not cower when cornered, but roared and walked towards their raised guns, is her spirit guide. Somehow I thought of you.

So much happens during our sleep, truly. Why not dragons and visions?

    1. Yes, and right before dawn is when lucid dreaming occurs or shamanic dreaming.

  9. Hey True,

Such poetic articulation, my star-filled friend. Of dreams, of dragons, of stars, rooted as one with the cosmic tree of life.

  14. So much to love here. My first thoughts were of Yggdrasil and the dreamings and mythology built around and from this amazing tree. Then on to Gog and Magog and beyond into other tree-lore but it doesn't stop there though as the dawn gateway opens and we dance on the line between awake and asleep where realities blur perhaps.

    1. Hi Paul,

Thanks for a great comment. I am glad you could feel the multi-layers of the universe. There is that thin line that we dance upon and it can be amazing.

As one drummer to another there is that magic when your soul reaches another plane and you just drift in a state
      of weightlessness.
