Here You Will Find Me

One Midsummer morning at Rydal web
artwork - Fay Collins

clouds
depart
revealing
rich greenery
here you will find me
listening to bird-songs
welcoming another day
after the rains, life flourishes
splashing blue skies over the landscape
here you will find me, in tranquility

  1. I like the serene images in the poem and the rhyme and repetition. The form is nice, too.

  9. You took inspiration from a painting, and gave us a poem that would make one believe that the poem inspired the painting instead. Well done.
