Dragons Dwell in Poetic Wells

Thirsty for life, sitting at the poetic well
drinking from the cup of salvation
dreaming of a land where dragons dwell

wizard of words, left his magical spell
mastering the fine art of flirtation
thirsty for life, sitting at the poetic well

creating magical sonnets, a story to tell
grab that glimpse of love, no hesitation
dreaming of a land where dragons dwell

castles await, journey with me to the parallel
sipping syllables of sweet conversation
thirsty for life, sitting at the poetic well

channeling lyrical verses, moon tides swell
opening hidden waterways to imagination
dreaming of a land where dragons dwell

knights disappear without a farewell
morning sun, brings a new revelation
thirsty for life, sitting at the poetic well
dreaming of a land where dragons dwell

  4. How lovely to be sitting at the poetic well, dreaming of dragons. Thank heaven we have words to pour our feelings into. How do people manage, who dont write?

  8. I wish I had a poetic well, or a wishing well...and would love to see those dragons, that come to the well.

  9. When it comes to rhythm and enthralling circles, your poetry is the mistress of them all. I always love what you do with sounds, the way your lines progress from stanza to stanza, adding to an image we know we'll be rewarded with in the end... I just love your "poetic well... where dragons dwell" and enchant.

  13. You excel at this form, and make the repetitions fruitful with dragons dwell and the poetic well. This poem sings!
