Moon Rose Glows

image - Pinterest

Mysteries of the universe
splash across a midnight sky
s(wishing) upon a star
swaying to the thump thump
of a drum...

whispering a tune between
snaps, crackles and pops
sweat trickles down my face
landing with a splat on parched
lips....

thoughts of you ping pong
against the chambers of my
heart...Lub Dub...Lub Dub..

vibrations rumble, rattling
gateways to unknown
worlds....

moon rose glows in a distant
sky..murmuring endless love
petals flutter, thorns slash
whispers of desire whoosh
across the heavens....

poofs of blue fire tango
shadow dancing...we
sizzle under the last sliver
of light...

  8. A strong romantic poetic that rocks the prompt. You had me at /poofs of blue fire tango?shadow dancing/. I enjoyed a slightly different flavor for you with this piece, yet gateways and portals and fantasy were still part of the wondrous mix.
