Fly Me Towards the Tiger Moon

fly  me towards the tiger moon
I asked the hawk  high  overhead
awakening  dreams  with  a  tune

sleeping  within  my  warm  cocoon
feather  pillow, an  earthly  bed
fly  me towards the tiger moon

near  waters of the  blue  lagoon
resting against the tiger's head
awakening  dreams  with  a  tune

within  his  golden  orbs I  swoon
on wings of a hawk sorrow fled
fly me towards the tiger moon

heavenly skies, songs  softly  croon
mystical  realm passion burns  red
awakening  dreams  with  a  tune

night quickly  fades, day  arrives  soon
bated breath I  hang  from  a thread
fly me towards the tiger moon
awakening  dreams  with  a  tune

  4. Shall tiger moon be your escape, flying there on a scavenger? Dangerous flight, though a beauty in dreams. I might be happy to sleep until I truly awaken.

    1. Oh, the hawk is a good friend of mine and has always guided me in important matters. To fly with the hawk brings me joy releasing any sorrow I may carry. It is a bird of great vision. It could be dangerous but for me he comes with guidance.. "i might be happy to sleep until I truly awaken" so true Susan..

  5. A great flow and awesome pic too. The only way to fly. Although a tiger might be more deadly than the man in the moon lol

    1. Well, I do enjoy a dream with a cat and you know to fly with a hawk can only bring good things. Haha a tiger might be more dangerous than the man in the moon unless the man in the moon is an evil alien.

  9. As someone who is quite literally friends with a hawk, I think that's probably the best way to travel, especially to the tiger moon. Beautiful words as always, and a great mental escape.

  16. How important it seems for our brains to go on holiday when we sleep and dream of our longings to be other than ourselves.

Reality can be most unfair! One would like the good times to linger on. Great thoughts Truedessa!
