let us weave
magic
in a field
of dreams
love blooms beyond enchanted castle walls
let my eyes gaze yours before evening falls
behind silver armor a knights heart gleams
love blooms beyond enchanted castle walls
let my eyes gaze yours before evening falls
behind silver armor a knights heart gleams
honoring his promise , words from the heart
past crowds he quickly rides, knowing she waits
galloping through strong iron fortress gates
this warm night nothing will keep them apart
sonnets of romance fill the misty air
singing poetic songs, cometh with me
let us dance under moonlight by the sea
in the name of love , my soul I will bare
softly we lay in tall blades of sweet grass
through
the doorway to paradise
we pass

dancing in the moonlight doesn't sound like a bad thing to do with the loved one and loving outside in the grass on a warm summer night....hmmmm
ReplyDeletegalloping horse, sonnets and songs, moonlight and sea. I think this is a great example of "romanticizing the times"… but it is fun, isn't it.
ReplyDeleteVision of fair maidens and knights do grow.. when warm air of love..is all around.. in knightly way.. a beautiful scene in far away.. can be this way.. in imagined fare..:)
ReplyDeletea field of dreams indeed....all centered around that hope that none
ReplyDeletewould keep them apart....i hope that is an enchantment that never breaks for you tru
The knight with the heart of gold. Nice!
ReplyDeleteA lovely concept.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful. Castles are bastions of romanticism. Perhaps it's because they're from a bygone age, and perhaps it's their majestic quality. Whatever the case, they really do scream old-fashioned, Shakespearean romance.
ReplyDeleteA true tale for the time galloping toward fate as she waits at the drawbridge gate
ReplyDeleteah this is how the earth becomes paradise...beautiful...
ReplyDeleteOh I know that you would ace the medieval romantics Truedessa,, a wonder of delightful moonlit serenades.. simply wonderful.
ReplyDeleteSo beautifully romantic. One of my faves of yours. Loved it.
ReplyDeleteAh, you definitely have captured the romantic era of those knights of old!
ReplyDeletehot summer nights in the grass... doesn't get much better. Glad he honored his promise, and the misty air filled with romance... smiles
ReplyDeletethe sonnets of romance is beautifully captured ~ how lovely to dance under the moonlight ~
ReplyDeleteSounds and sights from Rapunzel and Cinderella here. Prince Charming, perhaps does indeed exist for some fortunate ladies who found such knights in their men.
ReplyDeletePerfect romantic sonnet with truth and honor and marvelous damp grass outside the castle walls. Quite a little fantasy.
ReplyDeleteVery romantic...it seems they were destined to be together.
ReplyDeletea sonnet of love ~
