Summer Scented Night

Jasmine by Albert Joseph Moore
I long for a summer night
with hints of jasmine in bloom
garden of dreams taking flight
love fills the space we consume

with hints of jasmine in bloom
heady scent, I think of you
love fills the space we consume
warm waves, in oceans of blue

heady scent, I think of you
gentle breeze against my back
warm waves in oceans of blue
listening to life's soundtrack

gentle breeze against my back
serenading my foolish heart
listening to life's soundtrack
shadows of yesterday depart

serenading my foolish heart
garden of dreams taking flight
shadows of yesterday depart
I long for a summer night

Don't believe him, True. I once saw him pose in his red Speedos.

    1. Well, we have to finish up winter, then enjoy the beauty of spring and all its offerings. Summer days are my favorite. Give me a beach and the oceans songs and I will give you a warm smile.
