Apparition in the Woods - Moritz von Schwind, 1858 |
slipping into lucid dreams a ghost whisper thin
beyond silken veil, in a parallel world
writing poetic verses, songs from within
waiting for you in a bed of roses curled
in another realm, will your heart I win
or are you simply an apparition...

soft and romantic..
ReplyDeleteNice phrase: "songs from within
ReplyDeletewaiting for you in a bed of roses". I hadn't thought of winning the heart of a ghost before, but I like the idea of it.
Oh the hope of that romance... maybe the hope is more important than reality though.
ReplyDeleteI love the way your Quadrille slips into the mind like an apparition and then leaves it again with a lasting imprint. I especially like the phrases: 'ghost whisper thin' and 'songs
ReplyDeletefrom within', which make me wonder if the ghost is external or internal.
waiting for you in a bed of roses
ReplyDeletecurled in another realm

ReplyDeleteI love the dreamy parallel world ~ Hope you are well ~
ReplyDeleteLovely wording.
ReplyDeleteDelicate verses, feathery and breezy like an apparition...
ReplyDeleteMany greetings from Germany, from the Karfunkel fairy
Your piece speaks to me of one courting the poetic muse - and I know that mine is just one way of looking at it. Your words paint a delicate picture.
