Beauty hidden in the tall lake weeds
along the colorful wildflower shoreline
here a great blue heron quietly feeds
sitting under a giant weeping willow tree
listening to nature’s musical composition
there is a calmness that puts me at ease
white wispy clouds and a soft blue sky
spring full blown in all its natural beauty
yellow irises and bees catch my eye
Today, I found beauty and it was glorious
