Summer Pops With Thoughts of You

On a summer day
under skies of blue
surrounded by mountains
in green hues
drifting on the river
of mystical dreams

immersing myself
in the serenity of nature
a dragonfly lands on my hand
a small creature
thoughts of you pop
into my head

  1. And I am guessing that person was thinking of you at that moment as well. We know so little about how the quantum universe operates.

    1. I would like to think our thoughts were connected. It was a blue dragonfly, very zen like moment paddling on a river in the montains.

  2. I was a dragonfly once, but only for about 15 minutes in a previous lifetime. Thanks for the reminder.

  11. I love the image of that dragonfly landing and making thoughts of someone pop into the poet's head. Such a lovely visual!
