Of Truth and Fiction

I dance between the pages
of truth and fiction

I sing between the verses
of lyrical poetry

I write between the covers
of fantasy and desire

I dally between the chapters
of knights and dragons

I read between the lines
of mystical adventures

I dream between the settings
of imaginary and real places

I love between fantasy and reality
engaging with amazing characters

I find myself between truth and fiction
giving you silken words from my heart

  1. You read between the lines and see a whole new world, beyond what the rest of us see.

  5. Every word true, out of fiction or fantasy or knight or dragon—all felt (truly lived) emotions. I love what this says of writing and reading and feeling.

  7. Fascinated by the way this put the speaker as the the medium of passage between the reality and fiction, an ocean of reactions and creatures and wonders between those shores. :)
