Abbey Road Crosswalk |
I stood at the crosswalk in a dream
in a mysterious place I've never seen
across the street stood a man in white
crossed armed, pointing left and right
my world drifted away in a soft blue haze
the crowds disappeared, I stood in a daze
in the silence a melody played in my head
walking in a realm with the living; undead
The world changes,
the ground shifts
dreamers hold the key to possibilities
dream the unimaginable
live the imaginable
I stood at the crosswalk in a dream
in a mysterious place I've never seen
across the street stood a man in white
crossed armed, pointing left and right
breathe deep, there's a decision to make
I may be a dreamer but, my heart is awake
my vision becomes clear and I can now see
the universe holds a place for you and me
The world changes,
the ground shifts
dreamers hold the key to possibilities
dream the unimaginable
live the imaginable
Thank you for visiting
this is based off a dream
and I wish to bring honor to it
and I wish to bring honor to it
"I may be a dreamer, but my heart is awake." It is a hard time for dreamers, these days. I love your poem, kiddo.
ReplyDeleteThank you Sherry. It is indeed a hard time yet, I will continue to dream.
DeleteHi Truedessa - wonderful poem ... but so interesting seeing the Imagine clip - loved that ... thanks. We are in a time of change ... we need to be positive and help others at this time ... but I do dream of peaceful times too ... cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteHi Hilary - I agree a positive energy is needed during times of change.
DeleteThere is always an avenue to take, we just have to choose the dream and left or right or right down the middle.
ReplyDeleteI guess the journey is about choices. Hopefully, we choose wisely.
DeleteClear the fog and you'll see your dream clearly.
ReplyDeleteAnd sorry, having email issues - will respond when I can.
Hi Alex, yup need to clear that head.
