Into my dreams, the esoteric mystic flew
past the phantasmal veil there are clues
harbinger of warning in the web of night
guard your back on an uncharted flight
use caution in journeys to places of the heart

came the screeching HOO HOO Hoot, of an owl

There is vulnerability that can tear it apart
seeking the tree of deeper-rooted wisdom
use intuition see through the crystal prism
beyond the harbor, into the morning light
there's a lyrical song of love, yet to write

came the screeching HOO HOO Hoot, of an owl

  5. This poem is beautiful and mystical, a dream of a poem - (or a poem of a dream? Smiles.)

  6. Love the other-worldliness of this, where dreams take us and then leave haunting images in our minds in the morning. Beautifully done.

  7. Great use of contrast between the ethereal structure of the message and the strident jar of the refrain. I especially like the second line, and in fact, the whole first stanza, not to diminish any of the rest of it, because it is a shining whole.
