Bring me a blossoming spring day
fill life with sunlight, warmth and ease
melt all winter's harshness away
bring me a blossoming spring day
blue sky and creamy clouds on display
show me signs of hope, flowers and trees
bring me a blossoming spring day
fill life with sunlight, warmth and ease

DeleteWe need to remember spring. It's cold and ICE more ways than one.
ReplyDeleteSo true Colleen - I am waiting on a dream and spring
DeleteTruedessa, I'm wishing for the same. Last winter was a suggestion compared to this one. It is time for it to be over. I'm snowed in again and no signs of letting up.
ReplyDeleteIt has been a rough winter with all the snow and freezing cold temperatures. Stay warm and safe ....
DeleteCold here as well. Really looking forward to the spring day with sunny day out. Keep warm and safe!
ReplyDeleteThanks Grace you stay warm as well.
DeleteI hope you get a beautiful spring "with blue sky and creamy clouds" Oh love creamy clouds. We are heading to autumn
ReplyDeleteSpring is still about 50 days out but, I can dream. sigh..
DeleteI would if I could, Truedessa, and you certainly brought me a blossoming spring day in your poem!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kim, I will just have to patiently wait spring's arrival
DeleteIt's about to be snowy here so just a bit longer for spring.

ReplyDeleteI think we could all use a spring day.
DeleteIt won't be long now, Truedessa! Love the gentle longing in your poem, I'm sure many people relate 🙂
ReplyDeleteTomorrow is February 1st so spring is approaching slowly.
DeleteA sweet poem that speaks tons and tons. My heart goes out to you True ~~~ both sisters, two sons battling frigid temps, deep snow and ice inches thick. I am worried about all of them, slipping, frostbite, possibility of losing power .... please stay safe and warm. As my mother would say ... and I used to grimace every time "this too shall pass." LOL
ReplyDeleteThank you Helen for the warm wishes. I hope your family remains safe and warm as well. Losing power is terrible in the winter, I've been there.
DeleteSome days we just long for those days... at least I can feel the light returning now.
ReplyDeleteThe days are shifting towards more hours of light. I find that encouraging.
