  1. I love the form this poem took ending each stanza with such beautiful words; rebirth, peaceful springtime....they say it all for me as I am deep in winters sleep waiting for the wake up call.

All are just itching and 'thrashing' for the greenery again. Lingering winter seems to impose its will for far too long! Quite true, True!

    1. I think passion does hibernate in the winter. It makes one feel a bit sluggish, I guess the crisp air can be invigorating,

  17. What a strange winter in Northern New Mexico? It has been cold at night and early morning, but by midmorning, it is a nice as can be. So little snow. I miss the usual winter! It seems to have skipped us this year. So, when spring comes, it will be too soon. Winter, we hardly knew you.

    1. Well, here winter has graced us with snow, wind and brutally cold days. I am ready for a bit of sunshine. Funny, I never thought of New Mexico as a cold place with snow.
