Lighthouse Dandelions by Jamie Wyeth |
In a
field of dandelions
my
mind wanders in thoughts
I'm
lost
magnificent
light flickers in the night
my
heart flutters, wings of a moth
I
pause
golden
house star of guidance
my
soul seeks refuge
I
sigh
love
in abundance growing fonder
a
vision before my eyes
I cry
breathtaking
view, wondrous life
the
path leads me to you
I'm
found
Found you say
ReplyDeleteNot lost at your bay?
Lost can be more fun
But then lost with someone
Is just as grand
Searching the land
And dandelions are dandy
They come in handy
Cheap and easy to throw
Can grab a whole bunch in a row
But don't sigh or cry
Just climb high
Reach for the sky
But hold on tight as you reach for if you don't, you may all an be squashed like pie haha
Good Evening Pat,
DeleteLost or found I'm not quite sure
I agree lost can be fun as you
find your way under the sun
I do like dandelions, you see
I like to make wishes on them
as I blow their seeds into the winds
of a dream..sometimes, it makes me scream
thanks for stopping by, you bring a high
Good Night my friend by your sea..
a beautiful path to discovery!
ReplyDeleteHello Robyn,
Deletethank you!
I enjoyed reading the poetic repartee above... and wanted to also say I enjoy the crispness of your lines and the large compactness of your vision.
ReplyDeleteGlad I came to visit today!

Ardent yet tender; well done.

One often gets mesmerized when surrounded by good things. As long as one is in control it should be ok! Nicely Truedessa!
Hank

DeleteDear Trudessa: you have poemed a beautiful waltz of love,
ReplyDeleteemotion, nature - in short this poem is beautifully human.
Paige,
DeleteThank you so much for the lovely comment. It is appreciated always.
Good thing I found you
ReplyDeleteSo much better than happening on a wooden shoe
Or kitty litter at some Canadian beach
O do I love beautiful views so out of reach!
Clicking those google pics for all to see
Keeping my fingers crossed they'll too find me.
Hi Blue,
DeleteHow you found me I haven't a clue
but, I am glad you did find your way
perhaps, on a magic carpet you flew
it seems we have so much to say
I don't think a wooden shoe would do
one can get lost in beautiful views
so, take in all the shades of blue
you might be surprised at what you
will find, within that great mind...
Hope you are enjoying your day!
Oh Blue,
DeleteThanks you so much for the wonderful surprise..smiles go miles..on the way to Bora Bora..
Pfft my kitty litter is fine
DeleteIt is so divine
I don't have anything against
Deletekitty litter or Canadian beaches
in fact I love most any beach
give me a chair and some sun and
I'm having some fun..
Gorgeous love the hopeful ending!
