i like that first one...it plays well off the pic...and i like the thought of love around the world, regardless of species...i like the soft play on words in the second as well in pride...smiles.
ReplyDeleteHi Brian,
DeleteI seem to have cats on my mind and saw this picture and it really moved me seeing the beauty of the wild heart...
You have captured them so beautifully. Sigh. I adore lions.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Sherry...
DeleteReally good cinquains. Well-penned. :-)
ReplyDelete-HA
The cat likes that
ReplyDeleteOne big cat
Although they'd probably eat you and me
So let's let them love free
Well we slowly back away
A fully belly we don't want to make at their bay
I thought you might like that
Deletetwo beautiful cats at my mat
but, these we will admire from afar
under a sky filled with twinkling stars
Sounds good to me
DeleteLets be up high to or on the sea
We'll watch from the ship
And throw some catnip
We'll watch from our ship
Deletetwo joined at the hip
continuing on our trip
Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteCats will always be cats.
ReplyDeletePoets will always be poets, some really good, some still trying.
You, True, are WAY "above average"...

I like all three of these, Truedessa. Together they give a three-dimensional picture of these majestic animals.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mary, always appreciate your comments.
DeleteA beautiful way to show the tender side of a symbol that is considered rough and tough.
ReplyDeleteThank you..well they need to be tough in their environment but, can be tender to their own...
Deletelike this idea and movement!
ReplyDeleteRicardo,
DeleteSo nice to see you friend..any chance of another collaboration? Thanks for visiting...
aren't they majestic indeed... and the tenderness in all their wildness and strength and power..
ReplyDeleteClaudia there is something regal about them...
DeleteAppreciation of something wild and fierce is not out of turn. But they are certainly gentle to their own kind! Nicely Truedessa!
