Polaris Guides Us Home
our story written in the stars
verses appear from here to Mars
heaven shines with radiant light
heartfelt poetry in the night, true love is ours
finding our way Polaris guides
healing waters found in moon tides
crystalline children of the world
uplifting songs our wings unfurled, soaring hillsides
dropping our cloaks in dreamy skies
connecting energy we rise
crossing the bridge traveling home
lonely days we no longer roam, smiles replace cries
written for dVerse -writing Florette Poetry
I am not sure how I did but, I did try :)

This is so lovely. So much inspiration in the heavens.
ReplyDeleteThank you Victoria, I think we need a bit of inspiration in times of darkness.
DeleteTruly..we need to feel that collective positive energy to heal...
ReplyDeleteThat we do, joining forces for a better world...
DeleteThe stars will always guide and light our paths:) nice form and flow.
ReplyDeleteThank you, we need light after so much darkness...
DeleteI need this inspirational poem on day of darkness such as these.
ReplyDeleteI agree Bjorn, I have had a heavy heart ...
DeleteI love the 'healing waters' and 'traveling home'....'the poetry in the night.'
ReplyDeletethank you Kathy...may healing come and those lost souls find a way home..
DeleteWings unfurled - like dragons, perhaps? Or like angels?
ReplyDeleteThe peace in your words makes it feel like a journey to Heaven.
Hi Alex,
DeleteSoaring on unfurled wings - could be like a dragon or an angel?
I like very much the idea of connecting energy...it gives the idea of finding strength, which we definitely need right now.
ReplyDeleteWe need to collect our energy to find strength in times of darkness.
DeleteI love this, Truedessa, and you did the form so well. It speaks to me of the countless refugees seeking sanctuary. I hope they find that bridge home again and their cries become smiles. This really touched me, thank you.
ReplyDeleteGayle ~
Gayle,
DeleteThe prompt form was interesting so I wanted to try it and let my inner muse speak. That bridge is very symbolic to those who cross to the sky world and to those that seek refuge here on earth.
Such a beautifully touching poem... especially love smiles replace cries..
ReplyDeleteLots of love,
Sanaa
Hi Sanaa - The heaven weeps with those that cry..jmo...
DeleteA peaceful ride to a journey of finding one's self, plus rhymed great too, that the cat always likes at his zoo haha
ReplyDeletehaha - The cat does indeed like a rhyme or two there at his zoo.
Delete/collective positive energy/ trumps /collective negative energy, we hope & pray, yet here's another Friday, greeted with another Islamic terror attack, this one in a fancy hotel in Mali. I like the second stanza, especially the last line, /uplifting songs our wings unfurled, soaring hillsides/. You rocked the form as well.
ReplyDeleteHi Glenn, The news is still very grim and I wonder where all this is going my friend. Thanks for coming over for a visit let us collect some positive energy as life right now is draining for so many.
DeleteI especially like the last stanza in terms of its vibrating positive energy and sense of serenity. Ah, if only, but, as Glenn says, the news continues to be grim...
ReplyDeleteWe need some sort of serenity in a world of chaos...may peace be found in some way..
DeleteLovely poem. We all so need that inspiration and guidance to the light in these dark days.
ReplyDeleteThat we do...
DeleteConnecting all of the beautiful energy in the world is the only way we can tip the scales so the transformation of consciousness can occur. It seems right now, the dark energies are fighting hard, but the loving response rising up in turn convinces me love is the greater force. A beautiful write, my friend, which adds some much needed good energy to the world, and to us as we read your words.
ReplyDeleteHi Sherry,
DeleteI hope we can tip the scales so transformation can occur. Light and dark are battling but, I too believe love is a greater force.
Star our parents..
ReplyDeleteDust of Star
our ingredients..
Star are we..
in essence we
shine bright..
smiling our way
Paradise.. Now..:)
Kate - I really enjoyed your response...very inspirational..smiling now...
DeleteWhen we want hope look to the skies! Love this!
ReplyDeleteI believe hope can be found there
Deleteheaven shines with radiant light
ReplyDeleteheartfelt poetry in the night, true love is ours
True love may be elusive but to a sincere heart it falls on the lap easily! Great lines Truedessa!
Hank
elusive it might be like a blue rose, but it is still there waiting to be found.
DeleteThere is certainly poetry in the beauty of the night sky...I just wish that it wasn't so hard to get away from the light pollution that obscures those lovely verses!
ReplyDeleteThat is true sometimes the pollution makes it hard to see...
