Jousting Between Truth and Fiction

Truedessa's Collection

 I  joust  between the pages
of truth and fiction

I sing between the verses
of a troubadour's song

I write between the covers
of fantasy and desire

I dally between the chapters
of knights and dragons

I read between the lines
of mystical adventures

I dream between the settings
of imaginary places

I see between the eyes of
wisdom of sages & fools

I dance between the emotions
of love and heartbreak

I love between the poetry
of life's greatest stories

author's note:  written
I missed the midweek motif

  2. I think we need to be able to navigate the land outside the lines (even to find the next stanza of being)

CCool! there's always a shimmering field between opposites, but here the entire mystical experience is food for thought.

This is a classic, True! It puts into perspective the emotional contrast so many have experienced at various times under varied circumstances

  14. I really enjoyed this, Truedessa. I like the idea of jousting between the pages of truth and fiction. Sometimes it is hard to know the difference though...even in a book.

  19. This reminds me of all the reasons I love to read. "I dance between the emotions
of love and heartbreak" ~ story of my life ~ although there were times I wasn't dancing, more like crawling through snowbanks. Have a good one!
