Twelve years of poetry has come to pass
writing words from the depths of our hearts
every thought counted, no matter the form
lyrical songs waltzed across the pages
verses pulsated with enchantment and despair
every poem a creative gift; a work of art

Lisa is hosting and dVerse is celebrating 12 years of poetry writing a quadrille of 44 words incorporating the word "Twelve"

ReplyDeleteYour ‘Twelve Thoughts’ is a delightful tribute to the dVerse Poets Pub and sums up how we feel about our poetic community. I’ve been taking part in the pub prompts for about nine years and know that I have written hundreds of poems. I can’t imagine how many we have written altogether.
