So for the challenge I want you to:
- Select a title of one word containing not more than 3 vowels and 4 consonants.
- Try to find as many words that are using only the letter in the title
- Combine this into a poem of your own
- Do not use any punctuation in the poem
This was fun since it is a poetry prompt, I decided on Poetic as my title.
Yay. I can comment. I didn't want you to think I hadn't tried to stop by.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a fun prompt. Take special care.

Hi Sandra, So glad you were able to comment. I know sometimes it just doesn't seem to cooperate.
DeleteWell! What an appropriate choice of word and with one less consonant than the rules allow, what a fist you have made from it! - Epic poet...
ReplyDeleteThank you, I decided to use 3 vowels and 3 consonants. It seemed to work but and extra letter might make it easier.
DeleteI do love the inclusion of ice pic which to me immediately pulled me into sinister thoughts like Basic Instinct.
ReplyDeletehaha - Now you have me thinking about that movie. An ice pic does sound sinister.
DeleteAn apt choice of word, Truedessa. I love the allusion to Poe and the internal rhyme of ‘optic topic’!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kim, I visited the Poe Museum in Richmond and it was fascinating.
DeleteThat was certainly challenging! Well done.
ReplyDeleteThanks Alex, Challenging but fun.

DeleteI love "optic topic" because it illustrates how you get visions in your head when you read Poe.
