Apple Blossom Rapture

Today, I wandered
amongst apple blossoms
petals of soft pink and white
listening to the songs of robins
sweet fragrance, my senses delight

tangled branches flowering limbs
breathtaking beauty in view
here the seeds of fruit begin
emergence of spring renewed
today, I pondered

  2. A delightful apple blossom quadrille, Truedessa! We have apple blossom in our garden at the moment and, I must admit, I prefer their delicate petals to cherry blossom, and they smell wonderful.

  5. How lovely. Takes me back to my childhood. Kelowna was surrounded then by apple orchards - now it is surrounded by condos.

  6. Love the shaping and framing of your poem....hmm...even looking like a blossom itself.

    1. I was amazed how many blossoms were on the trees. A good sign of an abundant of apples in the fall.
