Tilt -a- Whirl

Free ai generated galaxy stars illustration

The heavens are full of wonder
orbs of light shining bright
in silence a galaxy whirls
full of energy beyond human
grasp

a shooting star falls from the sky
the night sings a melancholy song
tilting into the shadow of a dream
lost forever

  2. Very good, Truedessa. Your poem made me wonder... is there sounds in the universe if there is no one there to hear it? :>)

    1. Dwight - interesting thought to ponder. I think the universe pulsates or hums but, it is not audible to the human ear. But, then again how will we know?

  3. Truedessa, you made me think about and caring about the falling of an individual star. Thank you. Who knows how long it had been lighting the sky before then.

  6. Space is the best place to see whirls, Truedessa, and the ‘energy beyond human grasp’. I have yet to see a shooting star this year, so the one in your quadrille is so welcome.
