Silence Feather Light

  quiet

  silence

feather light

   gift from the sky

    frayed yet beautiful

 tranquility in my soul

pauses in heart beats

  embracing airy calmness

where the blue-bird once sang

a wild-winged spirit soaring

hushed are my tears

uplifting stillness

radiating love

welcoming

renewal

 peace

Cosmic Silence

Free Universe Space illustration and picture

In cosmic silence
heaven's pathways open
past the sun's stillness
returns the dark edges
of night the strawberry
moon full and ripe

struggling to breathe
in time with the endless
pulse of the universe
alone in my thoughts
my inner drum beating

the planets singing
to each other in an
ultra-low frequency
sweet music of the spheres
playing in harmony

romantic songs from
Venus to earth on a hot
summer night burning
with fiery passion

I climb a mountain
in search of mystical songs
but, fall into a blue sea
in the depths of the kingdom
of whimsical dreams

gulping in the cool waters
of the evening tide listening
for ethereal melodies of whale songs
music to elevate the heart and soul

within your dreams there is
a wishful, twistful, liftful
wormhole where worlds connect
crafting poetry that sing

Happy Trails

Shay's from Muse #82

The prairies stretch out before me
there is silence in the wheat-fields
giant leafy trees are rare to see

the road goes for miles and miles
leading one to places in the mind
the journey full of trials and smiles

 galloping with the wind bareback
hooves pounding, hearts beating
riding together leaving our tracks

exhausted we stop, taking in the sun
our wandering songs, drift in the air
some things in life you can't out-run
but, in this moment, beauty is everywhere

The First Kledon

Birds, Song, Music, Rain, Blue, Light

Awakening from sacred dreams of night

what mysterious sound or spoken word

would break the mourning silence

would it be birdsong or rain-song

would I sing along in the magic

would it be fair to ask for joy

when all I feel is sadness

The Greek word 'kledon' refers to the first sounds you hear coming from silence.
