The First Kledon

 Awakening from sacred dreams of night

what mysterious sound or spoken word

would break the mourning silence

would it be birdsong or rain-song

would I sing along in the magic

would it be fair to ask for joy

when all I feel is sadness

Writing a 44 word quadrille
incorporating the word "fair"

The Greek word 'kledon' refers to the first sounds you hear coming from silence.
