Circling Bright Light - Breathless

lost moths
 circling bright light
fighting dark temptation
 nocturnal creatures wings of  night
 short life

darkness
drawn to the light
waiting in the shadows
fragile life, longing for a touch
breathless

  18. Ah, the longing by the moths eventually ends in their death as they search for the light. Sad really, but perhaps not bad to die in quest of brightness.

    1. I guess you could say it is a deadly attraction..strange as they only come out at night and then are drawn to the light.

  19. In the great arc of the cosmos, each of us is the moth, living our short lives, reaching toward the light; needing first growth, then solace, then fuel for transcendence; nice work on both prompts.

  22. It is the moth's nature to be drawn to the light. It is sad that their passion is what often kills them.

  23. I like this. The darkness is breathless because it has no life. It lurks hidden from the light.
