morning dew
touches moist lips a sweet kiss
lost in lush gardens, poets dare to dream
thick maze of words , finding heavenly bliss
dancing under sunlight, riding moon beams
lost in lush gardens, poets dare to dream
thick maze of words , finding heavenly bliss
dancing under sunlight, riding moon beams
pleasurable rose scent , magical spell
drifting in thoughts, muse of lyrical song
words spoken in tongue, here our spirit dwells
with you, I've found a new place to belong
seeking release in a fountain of love
exploring the pathways from here to there
syllables take flight on wings of a dove
supporting each other , showing we care

seeking release in a fountain of love

syllables take flight on wings of a dove
supporting each other , showing we care
in a knight's garden we discover art
singing to the rhythmic beat of our heart

ReplyDeleteThank you Jeff for visiting and welcome back to the pub..
DeleteImpressed with the message unhindered by the sonnet form. I was into the second stanza before I realized the form; a kudo for cleverness for sure. So lovely the fellowship we have nurtured, reaching to every quadrangle of this planet, & even cooler that so many of us want to sustain it year after year.
ReplyDeleteHi Glenn,
DeleteI think it is a lovely fellowship and I am glad to be a small part of the magic.
at least for me..to discover art..is to truly find love..and even GOD or Allitis..as some people term ALL to be as IS..
ReplyDeleteAnd you bring those sentiments alive and well..here..
as your poetry flows a love of life and art..
As allitis to me..:)
Thank you for reading and I believe love is an art in the purest form.
DeleteI really enjoyed this Trudessa, such wonderful imagery, mouth watering in many ways topped off with a beautiful rhyming couplet. Well done.
