Writing from the book of life he pens a tale
linking and inking imagery with words
leaving pieces of himself along the trail
setting the mood with tantalizing verbs
linking and inking imagery with words
leaving pieces of himself along the trail
setting the mood with tantalizing verbs
He enchants her in a dance of words
She enchants him in
magical dreams
beneath a starry sky, she gently dreams
connecting with the universe and beyond
caught in a world of symbolism, it seems
storyteller and dreamer naturally bond
beneath a starry sky, she gently dreams
connecting with the universe and beyond
caught in a world of symbolism, it seems
storyteller and dreamer naturally bond
may his heart
always hold a story
may hers always
hold a dream...
together creating a
dream-allegory
each on a journey, seeking paradise
their eyes take in the peripheral view
beneath golden moon, speechless in flight
he touches her inside in that place of blue
their eyes take in the peripheral view
beneath golden moon, speechless in flight
he touches her inside in that place of blue
He enchants her in
a dance of words
She enchants him in
magical dreams
kindred souls breathing life into the night
airbrushing poetry across the sky
in an unknown tongue, verses they write
lost in the moment, dreams in their eyes
airbrushing poetry across the sky
in an unknown tongue, verses they write
lost in the moment, dreams in their eyes
may his heart
always hold a story
may hers always
hold a dream...
together creating a
dream-allegory
This turned out great tru. Think i caught the drum beat that runs through this as well. I hope your journey went well.
ReplyDeleteTogether a pair can create, opposite but mixing to create a new fate. Great one indeed at your feed.
ReplyDeleteAll writers hope to connect with the reader that way.
ReplyDeleteI love "linking and inking imagery." That flows so well.
ReplyDeleteLove,

I so love "May his heart always hold a story. May hers always hold a dream".
ReplyDeleteA dance of words & magical dreams -- what more could anyone ask!
ReplyDeleteI love that: "leaving pieces of himself along the trail." A good story really is sharing pieces of yourself with your readers. Baring your soul. Fantastic poem.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and magical.
ReplyDeleteHey True,
ReplyDeleteWondrous interpretations. Dream and stories, intertwined. Thanks for this.
Gary, Gary, nary contrary...
