Having a large garden and see the seasons in action is always a delight. Almost wished I had a big garden again...then thought of all the work!
ReplyDeleteFew realize that hard days are ahead. Beautifully captivated with bright images. We are like the bees in Keats' To Autumn where they think that warm days will never cease.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful use of colour in this poem! I like the oxymoron of summer coolly leaving - I have been watching it all through my window, including the busy squirrels!
ReplyDeleteI love how you drift through the seasons..it really awakens the senses
ReplyDeleteAnd round and round it shall go. Just have to get through the crummy change of winter.
ReplyDeleteThe seasons change, as do we and perhaps we all have hard times ahead. Lovely poem.
ReplyDeleteI can feel the subtle change in the air. I welcome fall and winter - my favourite time here, as the waves get so wild! Fall colours are so spectacular. A gorgeous time of year.
